The German-speaking canton of Zurich, in the north of Switzerland, is located almost entirely in the Plateau, with a southern and southeastern end in the Prealps.

City of arts, city of shopping, cosmopolitan city or simply world-city, Zurich is certainly one of the most diversified cities, but also one of the most expensive cities of the world. Zurich is also a city that cultivates the art of living and culture of all kinds.

Main cultural events:

• Sechseläuten: marks the end of the winter and is celebrated at the end of April;
• Street Parade: in the streets and along the lake every August;
• Zürifäscht: celebrated every three years;
• Afro Pâques festival: of Winterthour…

In Zurich, it's the diversity of musical styles: gospel, jazz, pop, with professional singing groups and choirs for those who want to empty their heads in a convivial evening, to swing their heads to the rhythm of the musicians.
