The canton of Schwyz is one of the three founding cantons of Switzerland.

The folk music of the Canton of Schwyz is characterized by its particular instruments. Each region has its particularities, and there are different numbers of groups. Traditional intonations are just as popular as modern interpretations of folk music.

Loving diversity, Schwyz citizens do not hesitate to call on contemporary music groups such as jazz, pop, soul, and gospel for various events.
