On the shores of Lake Luzern, at the heart of an impressive mountain landscape, is Luzern - an increasingly popular site as a place of residence, tourist destination and economic area. The canton is not only the interface between the Alps and the Plateau, between mountains, lakes and rivers, but also presents itself as an ideal link between tradition and modernity.

The towns and countryside of Luzern nurture a culture of festivals that has its origins in very different traditions and times:

• The archaic street carnival with its masked processions;
• The country festivals on the alp are the expression of the ancestral culture of the peasants and shepherds;
• Numerous music festivals (fanfares, choirs, jodel, "ländler" and costume parties) punctuate the life of rural communities;
• World Band Festival: The largest European festival of classical music, of jazz, pop and woodwind instruments is held in Luzern at end of September each year.

Events are often accompanied by dance groups and choirs. So, let yourself be shaken to the depths of the soul by the magnificence of the gospel choirs by calling on Edem Gospel Voices.

"I’ve heard from many visitors that they also enjoyed your music very much. The background music during the preaches made listening that much easier and more enjoyable. And your voices made the ceremony to a joy and touched us deep in our heart."

"On behalf of my family, I want to thank you and the entire Gospel team. Thank you for the wonderful moments you gave us with your singing. For us, and especially for our father, singing made it easier to get through this time, which is usually so painful for the bereaved."
