Lausanne is a city located on Lake Geneva, in the canton of Vaud, in French-speaking Switzerland. The fourth largest city in Switzerland in terms of population, Lausanne stands out for its vocation as Olympic city, a sustainable city, a place of training and culture.

Among the celebrations and traditional festivals taking place in the city of Lausanne, there are:

• Fête de carnaval ;
• Swiss National Day ;
• Festival de la Cité (street festival where theater, music, dance and circus mingle);
