Your Gospel Team becomes "Edem Gospel Voices": a new name for the same passion for authentic gospel

Dear customers and friends, gospel music enthusiasts and loyal fellow travelers,

Since inception in 2011 in Moudon in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, our gospel choir has been named Your Gospel Team; a name that immediately marked our first years, our first steps into the world of authentic gospel, and then our fame on the European scene. This name has been the symbol of our identity.

Today, we are happy to announce a big change: our gospel choir is changing its name. Your Gospel Team becomes Edem Gospel Voices, effective the 1st day of December 2025.

Why change ?

Your Gospel Team is a gospel group composed exclusively of professional artists evolving in the authentic gospel, African-American style. The singers of Your Gospel Team, of African and Caribbean origins, are all soloists of very high level with sumptuous voices. Our gospel choir entertains many corporate and private events such as weddings, birthdays, christenings, funerals… The group also participates in many international festivals and conducts many concerts every year in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Luxembourg and other European countries. These include the Cannes Film Festival in France, the JazzAscona Festival in Switzerland, the Voix d 'Orgues Festival in Bédarieux, France, the De Bouche à Oreille Festival in Orgelet, France, the Musica Riva Festival in Riva del Garda, Italy, the Moudon Gospel Festival in Moudon, Switzerland, and Art Basel, the leading international art market fair in Basel, Switzerland.

However, like any living adventure, our journey evolves, and with it, so does our identity.

Therefore, we wanted to adopt a name that further embodies our current mission: to bring the light of gospel beyond borders by producing authentic gospel shows, always taking into account innovation, perfection and the improvement of services.

The new name

Starting 1st December 2025, we will proudly carry the name: Edem Gospel Voices.

The name "Edem", used as a first name in the Ewe language in Togo (West Africa), means "He (God) saved me". This name expresses even better our identity, our spiritual inspiration and the very essence of our artistic mission, while maintaining the same team, the same energy and the same quality of services for your events.

This name change reflects the artistic and spiritual evolution of our choir. In this vein, this new name is a new commitment. A commitment to continue to sing fervently, and to make souls vibrate and serve you better.

What doesn't change

This change is not a break, but a continuity: a promise to stay true to our mission, while opening our hearts to new horizons.

This name change is by no means a change of artistic direction. Our team still remains the same. Indeed, our team always remains available to serve with the same commitment and professionalism. The services remain the same.

In essence, Afro-American gospel, true authentic gospel, world-class artists, vocal excellence, and unique, inspiring arrangements are the defining features of our gospel choir.

What next?

We know that none of this would have been possible without your support. Your support, your encouragement, and your constant presence are the genuine force that inspires us to keep going. Our entire team wishes to express its gratitude to you. Thank you for your trust, and for sharing this adventure with us.

May the new name Edem Gospel Voices stand as a symbol of a future rich in innovation and success.

This name change marks the beginning of a season full of surprises and celebration with our 2025 year-end gospel tour.
