"Toulouse: the rose city."

Toulouse is a commune in the South-West of France. Historical capital of Languedoc, Toulouse is today the capital of the region of Occitania, of the Department of Haute-Garonne, and the seat of Toulouse city. Toulouse was also the prefecture of the former Midi-Pyrenees region before it disappeared in January 1 2016.

The rose city is warm, friendly and seduced by its incomparable art of living. Animated by an intense cultural life, Toulouse is exhilarated every night in the streets, bars and theaters.

Cultural and festive life in Toulouse is very rich and diversified:

• The Carnaval
• The solidarity air of Toulouse: humanitarian festival with concerts, community forum, musical parade;
• The spring fun festival is the first European comedy festival;
• Music festivals are numerous: Rio Loco (world music);
• Houfafestival (contemporary and electronic music);
• Grand Fénétra a festival of folk dances and folk music;
• Festival Toulouse of summer in July and August: all musical styles share the stage in Toulouse;
• Dance in Toulouse during November and December. Every kind of contemporary dance is to the fore

Gospel music is particularly appreciated by the inhabitants of Toulouse.
